a-h marketing visited this new exhibition at Londons’ ExCel Exhibition venue last month (March 2014) and have to admit to being rather impressed.
The ExCel centre was easy to get to, parking was simple (though a little expensive) and access to the halls a breeze.
There was a good feeling around the show, plenty of small boutique frame brands as well as the more established distributors.
What appeared to be a wilful focus toward the needs of the independent optician, with workshops and lectures, was welcome.
The fashion show – to my mind almost never successful at exhibitions visited over the years, was also well done and enjoyable.
Quick conversations with exhibitors gave the overall impression that they were happy with this new exhibition; its organisation and venue.
So…next month sees the new Optrafair London and next year Optrafair Birmingham – how will these exhibitions compare now that the bar as been raised?
